Since Ellie was still relatively young, we were unsure when her next heat would be. Looks like it was about 8 months later. This time we were actually trying to get Ellie pregnant unlike her first accidental one.
As of right now, I’m not positive, but I’m about 95% sure we will be having Bernese puppies. For the first heat, they tied up once, and we had 5 beautiful puppies. This time, we had at least 4 ties that I saw. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was more.

I will be taking her to the vet in a little over two weeks to confirm the pregnancy and maybe see how many puppies we should expect. I’m hoping for anywhere from 7-10. 5 was wonderful, but I’m always happier with more Bernese puppies to snuggle with and more people to make happy.

So we do things a little different than other people. I don’t do a waitlist because I don’t like taking money from someone without knowing how long they will have to wait or how many puppies we will have. Instead, once the puppies are born, I will open things up. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit, a few questions, and a quick phone call. That will give me the order of choice for people.

Last time, our puppies were all claimed within a week or so. Right now I have about 6 people showing pretty strong interest. If you want to be added to the email list for the fastest updates, message me with your email.
