It’s been awhile since my last update, but it’s been a pretty busy life with lots of things going on. First of all, Emma was fixed around 7 months ago, so that was part of the reason for the silence. No puppies were coming.

Since then, our life has been pretty normal. We did get a visit from two of their pups, Tank and Pepper. Imagine having four of these huge dogs in one house. After a day of adjustment, everyone was comfortable and playing.

About four months ago, I started looking for a new female and that has been harder than expected. First, I had to find one not related to Finn. Second, I’m pretty picky about things. I want the parents to look a certain way, and the dogs have to be tested and healthy. Then, the cost of course. There were some amazing options but they were up there, like $4000-$7000.

Anyway, I randomly found someone in Wisconsin that was a good fit. The only issue was the distance. So, I’ll be flying there and flying back the same day with a new friend!

As far as new pups go, I’m not sure if we will continue or not. I love puppies but Finn is also getting up there. I’m more on a let’s see what happens mindset.

I’ll be getting the new pup in 8 days, so I’ll make sure to update with some pics of the cutie plus the story of the travel. Excited!
